The NZX 50 comprises the securities of the top 50 companies listed on the NZSX Market by free float market capitalisation. The company was listed on 4 June 1997, with a fully subscribed public offer for 85 million shares at an initial list price of $2.20 a share. In March 2000, there was a 1 for 12 taxable bonus issue of 7,080,947 shares.
